We are excited to welcome guests to our new luxury camping cottages! Our rooms are cleaned and sanitized daily. Let us know if you have any concerns.
The Poncu Cottage is inspired by my grandfather, Dale "Bud" McFarland, who I called "Poncu" as a small child. Grandpa was a Cattleman from the ground up! He loved his Hereford herd and he loved his family! This cottage is the perfect combination of both the larger than life man I thought he was as a child and the strong businessman and cattle rancher he worked his entire life to develop. This cottage is full of classic mid-century warmth and that Nebraska charm that we love so much!
Our Celtic Aire Cottage is inspired by the island of Ireland where my O'Neill family originates from. Our roots run deep in Irish heritage as the O'Neill family was once the royal ruling family for centuries on the emerald island. A traditional take on wine country style, this cottage enjoys vaulted ceiling, luxurious queen bed, attached bathroom (full bathroom), air conditioning and heat, hardwood floors and a semi-private outdoor porch opening out to the beautiful Spring Creek. Perfect for a secluded getaway, the cottages are nestled on the banks of Spring Creek for privacy. The Celtic Aire Cottage is just a short stroll to Mac's Creek Winery & Brewery Tasting Room. You may also want to enjoy our area restaurants, museums, galleries, and shopping.
The Mac's Lantern Cottage is designed and inspired by the McFarland Clan of the Loch Lomond Highlands of Scotland. The McFarland clan were known for their cattle thievery (cattle relocation program in our family history books... sounds better). They would rustle cattle under the full moon. To this day in Scotland the full moon is known at Mac's Lantern. The rich and warm features of the great Scottish estates are in our Mac's Lantern Cottage. You will also see our family's proud Scottish plaid tartan and our family motto of "this I will defend."
